Pottery, a Hidden Voice
Ceramics silently accuses the distorted values in the society. Judy Chicago, a famous feminist artist, complained the unfair treatment towards women through the ceramic works The Dinner Party. Under brain-washing effect of the mainstream, young people lost critical thinking. Ceramics can reflect the image of society and discover different social issues arise in Hong Kong.
陶瓷隱性的聲音
陶瓷默默地控訴著社會上一些扭曲的觀念和形態，著名的女性主義陶藝家－朱迪•芝加哥 Judy Chicago 透過陶瓷作品《晚宴》The Dinner Party，揭示及諷刺女性長久以來的不公平待遇和忽視。社會灌輸的主流觀念令時下的年青人失去自我批判和邏輯思維，陶瓷能側面反映社會現狀，細訴香港這片土地出現的不同問題。

Li loves observing social phenomenon and daily issues. Her works examine the value constructed in society and reveal the brain-washing system. Li attempts to break the social stereotypes and establishes new values.

李氏喜愛觀察社會現象，受日常所見所聞的啟發，作品審視一些長久以來由社會所鋪陳、灌輸的觀念和秩序，揭示市民大眾被主流文化「洗腦」的情況，或企圖打破社會常規，取代陳腔濫調和既定的價值觀，為社會注入一個新氣象。
 Gan Gans-We Support Each Other!- “Gan Gans” is trying to change the intrinsic impression of the viewers. Obviously, the public will associate with crime when they think of the word ‘rape’. However, “Gan Gans” can also be a supportive attitude among women because it is constituted by 3 girls in Chinese character. It explores the gender inequality and reflects the social reality. |  Nau Naus-Don’t tease me!- Li smartly uses the context in both Chinese and English languages to present the conventional concept between men and women. Li said, “why people think that it is happy when a man is having two women but the situation changes while a girl enjoying 2 boys?”. It represents the traditional thinking towards male and female which brings the audiences to rethink. |
