TERRITORY 領域

Land and Human

Soil, symbolically equals to the territory we all live and enjoy together. However, it is occupied and bounded by human. Due to excessive industrialization, urbanization and commercialization, it is indisputable that the natural characteristics of the land have been distorted. Though there are clear boundaries between countries, the Earth is commonly enjoyed by us. The artist expresses the inseparable relationship between human and the most extensive land, earth by his artwork.

Artist:

Johnson, Tsang Cheung Shing:

Please love our land.
Through ceramics, Tsang reveals the inter-relationship between human and the Earth. Sadly, this Earth is severely ill because of the destruction brought by human activity. Ironically, people selfishly exploit the territory but not treasure what they have already had. Tsang's works criticize the attitude of the self-centered mankind towards the Earth.

Humanosaur

Humanosaur

-Human is Dinosaur- "Humanosaur" describes human as a fierce dinosaur. The title is formed by "human" and "dinosaur". Although human beings are superior, their behavior is indifferent from the beast. Worst still, wars are waged under the desire of expanding influence. Tsang concerns about the future of mankind and hopes that human can escape from being terminated.

Save the Planet

Save the Planet

-Please!!!!!- A message delivered of protecting the planet through "Save the Planet". In recent decades, over-exploitation and occupation make the situation worse. The Earth is our precious treasure. Tsang pays attention to the land that we live and expresses that the Earth is no longer being recovered if we do not treasure it.
